Who’s who at East Village
At East Village, we understand that it can sometimes get confusing to work out who does what. Between landlords, estate managers, and the council, it isn’t always obvious who is responsible when something needs fixing, or if you have a question.
This guide breaks it down simply, so you’ll always know the right point of contact for the job.
EVML Estates Team:
The Estates Team manages the communal parts of East Village. This means keeping communal areas clean, safe, well-presented, and overseeing fire safety in those areas. If you have any questions about fire safety, you should contact the EVML Estates Team at [email protected].
For any issues in communal areas please contact your landlord, who will then escalate the issue to the Estates Team.
EVML Remediation Team:
The Remediation Team looks after building safety works, organising building safety investigations, managing contractors, and updating residents throughout the course of remediation projects. If you have any questions about ongoing or planned safety works, or you want more details on materials or processes being used in your building, please contact [email protected].
Security Team:
The Security Team at East Village supports the safety and wellbeing of residents 24/7. This team monitors CCTV, patrols the area and assists with incidents of anti-social behaviour. If you require urgent assistance within East Village, wish to report anti-social behaviour or notice any security issues in communal areas, contact [email protected], or call 02082217013.
Landlords:
At East Village there are two landlords, Triathlon Homes and Get Living.
Which one you contact depends on who manages your home, but the rule is simple: if the issue is inside your home, start with your landlord.
Triathlon Homes:
Triathlon Homes manages a number of East Village properties and deal with in-home repairs, tenancy support, and leaseholder matters. If you need a repair inside your flat or if you have any questions about rent, lease, or service charges, you can contact [email protected].
Get Living:
Get Living looks after rental homes in East Village. They manage tenancy queries, in-home repairs, and also run community initiatives. If you require repairs inside your flat, have a tenancy or rental account query, or if you’d like details on community events, contact [email protected].
Newham Council:
Newham Council provide local services across the borough. This includes everything from council tax and benefits to waste collection and street maintenance. If you have questions about council tax or benefits, need help with parking or street lighting, want to report fly-tipping or waste issues, or you’re raising a compliance concern, you can contact them on 02084302000.
Final Tips:
- Inside your home: Contact your landlord (Triathlon Homes or Get Living)
- Communal or estate-wide issues: Your landlord will escalate to EVML Estates
- Urgent safety or security issues: Go straight to the Security Team (24/7)
- Council services: Newham Council
With so many different teams involved, it’s not always easy to know where to start, but keeping this guide handy will help you get to the right teams quickly.
